Amanda Long, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. She specializes in spine surgery at Artemis Health in Santa Monica and Torrance, California.
Dr. Long was born and raised in Los Angeles. After graduating from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, she received her medical degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and completed her internship at the University of California, San Francisco. She continued her residency at the California Northstate University and completed her fellowship training at the Spine Care Medical Group in Daly City, California.
She returned to Los Angeles as an orthopedist and had the experience of helping a diverse patient population with varying orthopedic needs. Since then, Dr. Long has returned to her passion for specialization in spine surgery and trauma. She enjoys the art and skill that goes into fixing the human body.
Dr. Long has contributed to publications and presented her research at meetings for leaders in the field of spine surgery and research. She maintains an active membership with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
