About Dr. Jennifer Foster......

Jennifer Foster, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in sports medicine. With over 25 years of orthopedic experience, she provides top-quality orthopedic care to patients at Artemis Health in Santa Monica and Torrance, California. 

Dr. Foster was born and raised in California. She completed her medical degree and surgical internship at University of California – Davis before completing her orthopedic surgery residency at Keck Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.

Following her education, Dr. Foster established herself as one of the premier orthopedic surgeons in Southern California. Using the most modern and minimally invasive techniques, she specializes in arthroscopic and joint replacement surgeries of the knee and shoulder. She also performs arthroscopy of the hip and endoscopic carpal tunnel release. Dr. Foster performs over 500 surgeries per year but also provides non-surgical procedures such as platelet-rich plasma injections.

Dr. Foster is involved in research and has numerous publications in prestigious journals. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the prestigious Arthroscopy Association of North America.
