Michael Jimenez, MD

Michael Jimenez, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in hand and upper extremity surgery. He serves patients throughout Santa Monica and Torrance, California, at Artemis Health.

Dr. Jimenez completed his medical degree at UC San Diego, followed by a residency at University of California – Los Angeles. He credits the world-class program at UCLA with sparking his interest in hand surgery. During his fellowship training, he also received specialized pediatric orthopedics training at UCLA Children's Hospital.

Because he grew up in the Santa Monica, Dr. Jimenez understands the people of this community and works hard to translate that into a personal connection with each patient that allows him to be more effective as their physician. A cornerstone of Dr. Jimenez's approach is founded on the principles of preventative medicine and helping patients achieve a better quality of life.

Dr. Jimenez is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
