Michael Jimenez, M.D.

Michael Jimenez, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who completed fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. He serves patients throughout Santa Monica, Corona del Mar, and Torrance, California, at Artemis Health.

Dr. Jimenez completed his medical degree at UC San Diego, followed by a residency at the University of California – Los Angeles. He credits the world-class program at UCLA with sparking his interest in hand surgery. During his fellowship training, he also received specialized pediatric orthopedics training at UCLA Children's Hospital.

Because he grew up in Santa Monica, Dr. Jimenez understands the people of this community and works hard to translate that understanding into a personal connection with each patient, allowing him to be a more effective physician. A cornerstone of Dr. Jimenez's approach is founded on the principles of preventative medicine and helping patients achieve a better quality of life.

Dr. Jimenez is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
