About Sanders

David Sanders, APRN, partners with the team at Artemis Health, focusing on foot and ankle injuries. He sees patients from the practice’s locations in Santa Monica and Torrance, California. 

David received his nursing training at Mervyn M. Dymally School of Nursing in Los Angeles, California, where he earned a master’s degree in nursing. Prior to his transition to medicine, he obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture degree. He is a certified member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

David spent two years in Chile serving on a church mission, where he became fluent in Spanish. He has also accompanied a physician at Artemis Health on mission trips to Honduras. 

When he is not at work or abroad, David enjoys staying active by playing a variety of sports and spending time with his family. He also coaches his son’s basketball and baseball teams. He welcomes new patients to the practice.
